So we’re finally moving this coming weekend! Ian and I packed up a good portion of the house, ready to go on Friday/Saturday and get out of these apartments! We’ve left out things we’ll still need for the week, as well as things we didn’t feel like packing yet (art, namely, since we hate that echoey sound the empty walls can make!) but we’re ready and raring to go. There’s still a little question of how exactly we’re getting a fridge from a town roughly 30-minutes away to our house, but we’ll figure it out.
Also, we recently went and did a cow-share with a few other families at the gym, and the meat is supposed to arrive today. Yum! Besides the normal cuts and yummy burger meat, I’m getting stew bones and offal meats as well (heart, liver, etc). I wonder if I can easily slip those into meals without Ian noticing…In any event, we’ll be plopping all that in the chest freezer and then shlepping it over to the house this weekend with everything else.
Lastly, the CrossFit Regionals circuit has begun, with three Regional competitions being held this past weekend. My own competition is in about two weeks’ time, and while I’m excited and nervous, I’m also going to be ready when it’s all over. The Opens and the Regionals have been a great experience, but I’m ready to go back to WOD’ing just for fun again!
Have a wonderful day everyone! Hug someone today!
